My Friend has two I-140 one EB3 2002 PD and Other EB2 2008PD.
Last week he got his GC. He never requested to port PD. USCIS ported his PD and approved his case.
My I-140 EB3 PD 2002 approved in 2006
I applied new labor in EB2 category and while applying I-140 my attorney requested to port EB3 PD. USCIS approved EB2 I-140 without porting PD.
Recently My attorney sent another request to port PD , I saw LUD's on I-140 and 485 but no luck so far.
Couple of my friends successfully ported PD and got GC.

Kirupa, thanks but when I started a new empty xaml file to test your code I got quite a few errors. I'm using the June 2.5 Preview so I don't know if that's the cause of the errors but I've attached a screenshot with the code and errors.

All EAD renewals for the applicants whose I 485 was filed before August 17, 2007 have to pay $340 as renewal fee.. No exception.. no consfusion.
If you dont send check and pay incorrect fee, more delay or chances of rejection...Hope it helps..

Ok, what I posted is from these guidelines http://www.hooyou.com/lc/perm_eb2vseb3.html , EB2 used to be easier before PERM, it is also possible if position is job zone 4 but SVP is 8 or higher to go via EB2- PERM, I hope you are right in disagreeing though.

BerkeleyBee, I have contacted Jay but i am not sure how much i will be able to help with this one in particular. I have a few questions:
1) What exactly does the membership drive entail?
2) How does the process work?
3) Is there a team already established? If it is then how many members does it have?
BTW i DID attend the conference call, but due to connection problems, i was not able to follow the membership drive part. If a team is already established, then the point i was trying to make was, some members of that team can work on converting existing "free" members to "paid" members.

Hi All,
Me and my wife are traveling to India. We are going for visa re-stamping (consular processing).
Based on the information provided below, can you provide lists of forms/docs that we're supposed to carry with us when we visit the consulate for stamping?

- I entered on H1B. Then I had to change employer so visa was transfered (And they extended it for another 2.5years). So now I have a H1B visa which is valid till June 2009, and passport with expired H1B stamp.
- With the new employer - I've an approved PERM. I140 is pending. I485 is filed. EAD received. Do I need to take approval notices and/or receipt notices of any/all of these stages?
My Wife's visa:
- she entered on H4. Now she has a H1B visa which is valid up 2010, and passport with expired H4 stamp.

I would say just have all the receipt notices handy. They are not required and they didn't ask me for it when I got my visa restamped but you could carry a copy on the day of interview just to play it safe.

For some reason mine went the other way ,from Texas to Nebraska. It should have been in process at Texas but now Nebraska has retrogressed me about 5 months to March 10 2007 with my I-140 reeipt date of Aug. 16 2007. Can I complain about this? If so where?

Is this normal? Would I need it in future - if I switch jobs 180 days after 485 etc?
Same thing with me. Lawyer does not release copies of Certified LC or I-140 approval.
From what I understand that should not cause issues with AC21; however I would feel much better having these copies in my hand just in case....my 2 cents...of course ask attorney before making any moves...
