Take advice of another lawyer. I have a friend who did something similar and he is simply sitting tight (on advice of his lawyer). So I would not simply start the whole process from scratch before consulting a couple of other lawyers.

I had got an RFE on my 485 for a TB retest.
My lawyer suggested that i get the whole medical done again just so that they do not request any more tests as it had been more than a year.
On the other hand, my wife's medical was OK. so we did not have to do anything.
I think it is safer to get the whole medical re done if you got an medical related RFE.

My 140 is Approved from Company A.I haven't filed my 485 yet.
My H1 6 Yr period ends in Mar 2009.I am planning to move to company B and request a 3 yr extn based on my approved 140(with Company A).
My qn is what if company A cancels my 140?
If I get my 3yr H1 extn approved (before 140 cancellation) will my status be valid?

I have been reading posts on here and I think I am more confused than ever now. People are talking about 180 days? 180 days from what and for what? I have a call in to my lawyer but hes hard to reach.... So maybe you guys can clarify for me? I have an approved labor cert w/ priority date of July 06. Sent my app and my husbands app to the NSC on June 27th for our 485 & 765 (the work authorization for both). So what now? I will get a receipt date, then eventually a notice for fingerprints and then my work authorization? And then what - we eventually will get our green card? When does your change in status occur? once you get the green card? or once my 485 is pending? Thank you for your help in advance, Lisa

The applications that were sent between July 2 and July 17 have been transferred to other service centers. the applications reached during this time period is taking a little longer to process.

We have had several wonderful members who have joined the chapter already. We are forming local networks in Nashville, Memphis and Knoxville so that it's easier for all TN members to participate in the chapter activities. Coordination of the activities will be done through the Yahoo group.
I'll be coordinating activities in Nashville area. So if you are from Nashville or surburbs, feel free to PM me.
Mahatma has kindly agreed to coordinate the activities in Knoxville area. If you are in Knoxville or surrounding areas PM him, he'll help us get organized. Members like him who already have their GCs and helping our cause is a real insiration to the rest of us.
We are in the process of setting up a network in Memphis too. Don't worry Memphiseans, you are in our radar :). PM me your details and I'll help you folks get organized. We already have some enthusiatic volunteers ready to work with in building local networks.
IV TN is not all Immigration. We are building strong network of likeminded persons. It will not only help us work with IV to solve our GC problem, but also spin off into future opportunities from the development of these network.
All in all, I really feel blessed to be working with this group of motivated volunteers.

Good. Just make sure the lawyers are eligible to practice employment law in the state you have been sued in. Stay cool and just make sure this gets resolved ASAP. Attorney and law suits are very expensive and can run into several thousand dollars if you drag it longer. Save the trouble, hire an attorney with clear mandate to negotiate with your employer's attorney. Courts also provide an arbitration process. Tell your attorney that you don't have money and what will be the cheapest and fastest way to resolve this. See where it goes.

I-485 RFE details.
Needed evidences:
1. 2 Passport size photos in USCIS specs.
2. Form I-693 completed by civil surgeon.
We did submit all these requested I-693 and photos during the initial filing. My question is, does USCIS request for new I-693 if the original one submitted is older than one year or more?

With a million GC applications processed a year even if a small percentage fit the profile Merck has managed to corner a substantial market and more than that a ready made test suite for it's vaccine.
This racket started with states like Texas making Gardasil mandatory for pubescent girls. If this is what takes to be in "Land of the Free" I would rather leave it for the true Americans who would be suing Merck 15-20 years later for damages.
